MASSIF Plank™ supplies bold, engineered wide-plank wood flooring to Architects, Interior Designers, Custom Builders, and discerning homeowners. MASSIF Plank™ highlights the best in craftsmanship in engineered wood plank. We are celebrating a better-made product, with thicker wood veneers and enhanced stability in engineered design.

    Decades of experience

MASSIF Plank™ draws on the decades of experience from European and American manufacturing mills that created the first engineered wood floors. In the mid-20th century engineered parquet flooring was first made to be more stable, easier to install and alleviated concerns of installing wood floors in higher humidity areas (basements) and over concrete in multi-residential and commercial settings. Engineered wood floors are now commonplace and have mostly taken over in popularity from solid wood floors.

    Flooring that lasts

    Veneer wear layers

MASSIF's wood veneer layers typically range from 3mm - 6mm thick. Many of today's lower-priced engineered wood floors have wood layers of 2mm or less. These are difficult to sand and refinish and produces waste when they are quickly replaced. When installing a MASSIF Plank™ floor you can be proud that it will be enjoyed by future generations.

    Engineered cores

MASSIF engineered cores are available in different designs (2-ply softwood, 2-ply hardwood and multiply) and each has its distinct advantages. The trait they share, however, is stability. These floors will last decades if maintained correctly.

    Sustainability + Sourcing

MASSIF Plank™ sources wood both locally and globally. Look to Collection Locale for the best in small operation, FSC-certified®, sustainably-harvested Canadian domestic species such as American White Oak, Black Walnut, White Ash, Red Oak, Hard Maple and Hickory.

    Vertical Line Dividing Two Logos

Collection L'Europe offers European White Oaks that are grown and manufactured in Europe. And Collection Le Monde features globally made, leading-edge manufacturing techniques such as deep tone smoking on European and American White Oaks.

When you hold a MASSIF Plank™ sample in your hand you will appreciate the difference that a quality engineered core and a substantial wear layer of hardwood makes.
